Our church was organized as a Methodist fellowship in the rural village of Waverly, W.Va. in 1896. As a United Methodist Church since 1968, our church follows a traditional Methodist order of worship and biblical Christianity based on the Revised Standard Lectionary of the Bible. We strive to be faithful to the legacy of Methodism's founder, John Wesley, and a responsible member of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the UMC.
